Application Management

The expense of running personal computers and servers does not stop at purchase. Inventory and Rationalization

Dell consultants document the names, versions and quantities of software installed on all connected workstations. They then consolidate the data to provide a comprehensive inventory report of all applications in use. Finally, they establish criteria for identifying duplicate or redundant to create a Master Application List.

Application Packaging

Combining process, automated tools and workflow, tools and technology, Dell can provide a pay-as-you-go Application Packaging, remediation and software virtualization service that prepares applications for deployment in accordance with agreed application packaging standards.

Often implemented as an integral element of our customers’ configuration management initiatives, Application Packaging can help streamline the deployment of applications across the organization and improve ongoing desktop and server management.

Application Packaging is available as a stand-alone service regardless of your existing hardware infrastructure.

Application Compatibility Assurance

The Dell Application Compatibility service provides a rapid and accurate way to understand potential application compatibility issues and provide remediation steps. In keeping with the Dell “right first time” approach, all applications prepared in the packaging factory undergo rigorous quality assurance and verification prior to User Acceptance Testing.
