The Right Approach to Storage Installation
Our modular line of on-site PowerVault installation services includes all PowerVault Fibre Channel and SCSI storage products. All PowerVault installation services include unpacking, quality inspection, interconnection with the host server, and positioning of the new storage product into a previously-assembled Dell-supported rack.
Dell/EMC expands Dell's storage portfolio, adding new products to the existing line of Dell PowerVault storage solutions. Dell can manage every step of the installation process, so you can standardize on a single vendor who can track the process from order through configuration, helping your IT resources stay focused on other strategic initiatives.
The Right Approach to Switch Installation
Standard Installation provides installation of the PowerConnect switch, including installation into a Dell-supported rack (if required), connecting cables between the switch and attached servers and clients, and testing for proper connectivity.
You can get Advanced Installation on managed switches, which provide the same coverage as Standard Installation plus advanced configuration of all features outlined in the Users Guide: Password protection, System Manager, Port Manager, Address Manager, Spanning Tree, VLAN and Class of Service Setup, Port Trunking, Port Mirroring, SNMP, Multimedia Support, and Statistics.
