Dell will help you resolve software and security problems by providing telephone assistance to you or your designated representatives covering the following areas:
- Guidance on problems with supplied Operating System
- Guidance on problems with supplied Application Software
- Guidance on Exceptional Issues and virus/spyware removal

This service helps customers resolve one-off standard error message occurrences arising from the use of a single, standalone Dell computer system with standard Dell factory-installed operating system and/or application software.
It includes advice on virus and spyware removal provided that the still-current and recently-updated, Dell factory-supplied anti-virus software is resident on the system.
This service is a "pay as you use" technical support phone line. The payment is collected at the end of the call by credit or debit card.

Service Procedures
Dell's Software & Security Technical Support Agent will carry out a brief diagnosis to determine whether your issue is covered by this service, and will explain to you how they propose to resolve it. If you agree, you will be charged by debit/credit card (other forms of payment not available) and support will be delivered thereafter.
Software & Security Technical Support Agents may stay on the phone with you to help implement the fix, or may provide you with the relevant fix and call back at an agreed time to confirm the implementation is complete.
