YOU'VE TAKEN GREAT PHOTOS, NOW SHARE THEM WITH THE WORLD
Nothing puts a smile on someone’s face faster than a great picture. Keep in touch and share your memories. Whether you prefer to upload pictures on your blog, or send them via email or through snail mail, getting your images to friends and loved ones has never been faster or easier.
Click Tip: Many mail servers will reject a message that’s larger than 2MB, and even if they accept, your message could clog up the recipient’s in-box. Be kind — reduce file size.

To send photos via email:
- Reduce file size: Crop and resize your image to 800x600 pixels or smaller.
- Save as jpeg: This is the most common photo file format used online.
- Attach three images or fewer per email: Some mail programs will not accept messages with more than 3 attachments.
Make Online Albums
Many online sites allow users to make digital albums to showcase and share photos. Sharing your photos is as simple as registering and uploading (see specific sites for more detailed directions).
Make a Coffee Mug
Why limit yourself to an online album? Most of the online sites also offer lovely, hardback printed photo albums and fun, unexpected items such as coffee mugs, t-shirts, greeting cards and calendars printed with your photos.
Windows 7 Tip: The Windows Photo Gallery has a built-in Burn tool that quickly archives your pictures on CDs and DVDs.
CD/DVD: Not just for backup, CDs and DVDs are an inexpensive, efficient way to share photos (especially large files and videos).
Windows 7 Tip: View your photos on your television using a PC with Windows 7 Home Premium or Ultimate.
Portable Media Players
When you store photos on your MP3 player, they’re always in your pocket so you can show and share them at a moment’s notice. Some players even display photos on the unit’s LCD screen.

Digital Picture Frames
The ultimate way to show off your pictures, digital frames can import pictures from your memory card or directly from your camera to show them in a slideshow format. Pay attention to resolution, power source, viewing modes and if the frame includes a built-in MP3 player for background music!

Print photos and share them! Printing photos is still one of the best ways to share your memories. Show them to your friends, send them to grandparents, keep them with you to show off your children or recent trips. Not sure who “they” are but “they” say a picture is worth 1,000 words!
